2. How has your study in Monash Malaysia helped to prepare you for the working world?
Studying in Monash has been an overwhelmingly positive experience where I meet people from all over the world, from Zanzibar Africa to Sri Lanka to Australia to Oman, it is a place with real diversity and I made many friends over there. The lecturers have always been helpful and friendly, doing their best to help us realise our fullest potential.

3. While at Monash what type of opportunities did you participate in?
I participate in helping the open houses, I also participate in sports activity like football tournaments. In my free time, I play pool and also uses the gym a lot.

4. When you were choosing a course and a university did you have a clear picture of your future (and if so what was it)?
Yes, I have always liked current news being a news junkie thus international studies fits right in to what I am interested in. I did achieve that professionally by being sent to do political and hard news research at Mediacorp.

5. How did that change (or reconfirmed) during your experience at Monash?
It reconfirms that I made the right choice as I had a fun time studying in Monash and getting very good grades as well and becoming the best student of my course.

6. If you didn’t have a clear picture of your future, was there a moment at Monash that made you change the direction you would like to take in life?
The picture was clear from the get go :)

7. Whilst at Monash, did you have any industry exposure/placements? How has it made a difference to your own life or the life of others around you?  Did it consolidate what you have learnt from your undergraduate course?
I did not have industry exposure during my time.

8. What was it about Monash that made you select this university in the first place?
The school has a long history and has been known to be strong in the field of political science so I feel it fits right in with what I love doing.

9. What do you love most about your student life at Monash?
The friends I made from all over the world, the eating experience in Sunway is something I cherish, places like Rock Cafe has become legendary for us students. The lecturers become more than tutors, they become life-long friends.
